For many years I felt sad that I could not afford to buy a home in Vancouver. My family has settled in Coquitlam and have lived here for almost 40 years.
Until Gregor took over my wife and I discussed (argued) over where we would retire. I always argued for the West End. My wife a well grounded realist has always pointed out that while we love Stanley Park we can afford Cultus Lake.Gregor has cured my unhealthy need to live in Vancouver. He is transforming a wonderful city into an idiotic vision of what he believes is right and good. We spent yesterday walking at Kits Beach On our way home I drove over the Burrard Bridge in mild decent weather. Concrete everywhere. Disgusting to look at but ensuring the safety of all bikers. NOT ONE was using the concrete bobsled runs but if one lonely cyclist was to have peddaled across the bridge he would have been damned safe.

So once again thanks Gregor, although I could never afford Vancouver, you have made it a place where I no longer would care to live.
13Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
