I wanted to leave this comment on the Margaret Wente topic, but there was a problem with the link.
I just read her final piece in the Saturday Globe and Mail.
Her series on Insite was the best example of investigative journalism I have seen for years in the G&M. I hope this will be evidence enough and provide the current government the courage to do the right thing and shut this wrong-headed endeavour down.
The Swedes have it right: Rehab or Jail - make your choice.
