"The Reality is Needles are not a Good Way to Use Drugs."

Who else do we know in possession of such practical wisdom?

Why only one person - the Nutty, Evil, Misguided, Sick, Disgusting Mayor.

Anyone who continues to discuss the paraphernalia or the methodology of addictions (Whiskey is harsher than gin! Transfats are worse than carbos!) has missed the bus entirely...hell, missed the highway.

There are people in this community so stupid (doctors, lawyers, mining executives) they are paying thousands of dollars to get this Terrible Man re-elected.

Just read your article in Vancouver View. It would be great if you could write about our city's drug problem, though perhaps that magazine isn't the right venue for it.

Thanks, Robert,
That Education column is a 6-part series that we have contracted to do as part of a Langara College public awareness campaign.
Cheers!

I'm in complete agreement with your comments regarding the Mayor, however, I also recall your putting your support behind him when you were on CKNW and he was running for the position.

You're quite right.

I not only put my support behind him; I actually helped him significabtly in hi election by giving him public speaking lessons.

I am now ashamed of having helped him. He soon revealed his true colors - an egotist, driven by vainglory, a petulant and vengeful adolescent, determined to crush his opposition, and finally - amd most importantly - a dangerous idealogue possessed of the worst possible ideas.

Can I make a prediction about the next civic election? I think that Sullivan will win the NPA nomination again (though Ladner or you should) and the parties on the left will find some dream candidate. The latter will win and things will get even worse in Vancouver.
