The End of the World As We Know It
“Who knows, in 10 years we could be looking back on this as a very significant moment,” said Rob Correa, senior vice president for programming at CBS Sports.
What is this fool talking about? Philosophical debates on the place of human beings in nature?
Here is what he is talking about:
"Video Game Matches to Be Televised on CBS"
Read the entire bewildering saga here, and then you'll understand why I don't miss the wonderful world of broadcast.

Aww, thats cute, a TV show for Video addicted geeks.
How do they ever plan to get the geeks away from thier Nintendo/X-Box/Wii what-evers long enough to figure out that the TV is putting on something about 'their' supposed best players?
How could the geeks know that this show is on, when more than 1/2 of them do not have commercial TV, because it gets in the way of their games?
I am so glad that I stopped paying for this sort of garbage 10 years ago.
Theatre is life.
Film is art.
Television is furniture.
