This portion of the Cernetig's piece, re idea politics, is spot on:

But Sullivan's more serious -- and sophomoric -- post-strike mistake is suggesting "this strike will not be truly resolved" until the next election. I thought we just did that.

Sullivan's claim puts him in danger of giving up the higher ground of idea politics, where true vision is found.
