US-Pakistan Alliance a Mess

Pakistan was never really on my radar.

You'll forgive my ignorance, but that is the only word that sufficiently describes my awareness of Pakistan.

Now that the country is under military rule I am slowly learning a thing or two.

For instance, I didn't know that the US, which doesn't have health insurance for its children and 45 Million other citizens, has been feeding $10 Billion Plus into the military in Pakistan in recent years.

It turns out that, as usual, the Americans thoroughly blinkered in their solipsism, have no real idea of Pakistan. So once again, as in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, they are now caught with their government issue khaki pants down.
