Tranclink in Conflict
The new Transclunk board are, of course - whajja expect, Bunkie? - political hacks and dough boys.
But the worst appointee is Robert Tribe, a recently retired VP of SNV Lavelin, who built the Canada Line.
This is called CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

Absolutely, that is a conflict, a Tribal conflict. A closer look would reveal that former high-ranking SNC-Lavalin man Robert Tribe is far from being the only cozy Translink/BC Transit 'friend' to benefit in such a way. SNC-L built big portions of the original SkyTrain line and the relations with BC Transit were closer than people realized. Nowadays, they make sure to call them public-private partnerships ... lame, buyt also corrupt.

Gordo's new 22 member climate change team has some yahoo from FORTIS. That's the company which took over West Kootenay Power & Light which did such a wonderful job of building the dams on the Kootenay River and selling cheap power in the region. Now much of that power is sold to the US and rates have gone way up. This is another Conflict of Interest.
The person in charge of that Cambie St. mess is also a Director of Shato Holdings which owns the White Spot which will of course benefit. On their web site it's says they paid Ted Hughes and he said there isn't a Conflict of Interest. Duh?
