A rare kudo to the BC Law Society.
Usually protective to a fault, like all other so-called "professional" bodies, the Society is investigating massive over billing by Liberal Senator Mobina Jaffer and her son.
This raises among other questions why do we have a Senate? How does Jaffer qualify? What earnings are Senators allowed outside of their heavy, serious Red Chamber duties?

the appointment of this leech to the 'upper house' was a joke right from the start. a typical chretien/liberal selection, i.e. a woman of colour. pathetic pandering to the special interest groups and it's been going on since pierre 'the beginning of the end' trudeau took power. i wonder if a conservative majority would end such nonsense.
This woman was running for Liberal MP in the early nineties in North Vancouver. Her big concern was immigrant women's issues. Thankfully it was not the concern of North Vancouver voters.
Didn't she and her son try to bill 30 hours... in one day....
Typical Liberal pandering to special interest groups is right. Please bring on the conservative majority.
