Reno Resolution, and other Zen Experiences
Now that I've definitely decided NOT to renovate the bathroom off my bedroom, I have quickly come to love this room that I had begun to hate.
I'm accepting where I am and what I have.
Renovating the bathroom was just a diversion, a way to avoid other, more urgent tasks, like writing a new draft of a book I've been working on.
All hail my beautiful OLD bathroom!
(That's not it. I should be so lucky.)

Congratulations on loving your old bathroom.
I live in a non-profit housing co-op. I only change things that I really, really have to. In my type of home, any improvements that I make benefit me only while I live here. After I move - all improvements become part of the co-op and the next lucky person will enjoy them.
This set up is good actually, it keeps my credit card balances a healthy ZERO. I know renovations are a big money pit (notwithstanding how nice they look when they are finally all finished).
If the costs and the inconvenience aren't enough to convince me to be happy with what I have... I have a lovely picture of my World Vision child that I sponsor. She lives in a three room mud hut with her parents and brothers and sisters. I am sure that my bathroom is a thing of luxury to them.
There's perspective for you LOL!
Take care.
Linda
