Whatever happened at the burned out mansion at Laurier and Granville, it is not good.
But what happened on the late news the night it happened was a tiny little tragedy in itself.
The young lady posing and acting as a news anchor - she is qualified by her blond hair, blue eyes and Nordic good looks - called Low-Ree-Ay...Lore=EE-er.
We know this gal has lived here for a long time.
Did she skip the tutorial on Getting Names Right?

She must be related to the News 1130 reporter who just this week pronounced Zurich as "Zerr-itch" and other errors that I can't recall just now. People say I'm pedantic, but the thing is: they're in careers that require them to broadcast correctly. That's about all they have to do. When they do it wrong, it tears me apart.
