Vick is the Tip of the Iceberg

Here are some of the questions not being asked about Michael Vick:

Was Vick a deaf mute?

Did he never speak/brag/chortle/boast/rag about his dog exploits to the entire roster of the Atlanta Falcons?

Did no other human person know about this for an awfully long time?

Did any other football players bet or participate in Vick's dreadful, hateful animal tortures?

This is the umpteenth story in recent weeks that has left dozens of questions unanswered because they have been unasked. The NBA referee scandal is another example.

What has happened to journalism?

Laziness is now an industry.

Today I saw a young boy of about 4 or 5 wearing a Michael Vick jersey, and was tempted to let the kid know exactly why he shouldn't be wearing the jersey of a dog abuser/murderer, but somehow resisted. I blame the kid's parents for not filling him in on what was going on.

I hope the NFL does the right thing and bans Michael Vick for life and put the onus on him to make this situation right, and make himself a better person. But I don't see this happening, as the NFL would never want to lose one of their biggest stars for more than one season, no matter what a dispicable person he is.

"Laziness is now an industry". A very astute comment David. Sad, but too true.

Hi David, Gary Law here on Hornby Island. I don't know how else to contact you, but as a former caller to your Show, and Posting many "Comments" on this great Site, I was wondering if you have any Updates on Boxter Boy? We shouldn't let this Case die. It makes my day visiting your Blog every morning David! Thanks a million! grlaw@telus.net

Every voice counts. Good for you, David for asking the hard questions.

Here is a link to the Petition to suspend Vick:

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/354020737

Please sign the petition - give a clear message to the NFL 'big boys' who only react when they believe their bottom line (read: $$$$$$) will be impacted. Approx. 51,300 people from all over the world continue to sign this petition.

It is not sufficient to simply suspend Vick. Everyone connected to these evil acts, should be suspended from EVER playing on any football team - ANYWHERE.

The universe will take care of the rest . . . . karma.
