Falling From Grace - Michael Vick
10-year, $130 million contract
That's where he was but a few months ago.
Today, he has been sentenced to 23 months in jail. He is pretty much penniless, in debt and horribly disgraced.
His name is Michael Vick and he was an elite athlete, a superb running and throwing quarterback with the NFL Atlanta Falcons.
His reversal of fortune has to do with dog fighting, cruelty to animals and gambling.
To see someone this good expose himself for being this bad is tragic.

Oh don't worry, when he is released the many teams in the NFL will be biting at the chance to have them play on their team. Don't forget this is the NFL. Probably one of the most morally bankrupt sports leagues. Are you a wife beater? No problem, linked to a murder, that is ok. It's disgusting. Good riddance to this animal. I hope he finds his cage comfortable.

You've got to be kidding? He's good because he can play football? Yea, he plays real good to be sure, but he plays football. What is tragic are all the poor, defenseless animals that he tortured and killed. What is tragic is that he may well "rehabilitate" his image and return to playing football for huge sums of money. He's a sociopath. Don't serial killers start by torturing and killing small animals? The man is scum and he can't go away long enough for my liking.
