Great fun! Make Gordo and Waffling
Wally and Silly Sam nervous. It appears that Canwest may be modifying its dictatorial policies re: editorial focus and hiring freelance travel writers. Spoke to the Edmonton Journal editor yesterday about a copy of a feature on James Barber which I arranged in 1984. Spoke about travel and he denied there was a policy not to use freelance travel stuff. Yet, I've been told this by someone at the Province and the Calgary Herald. With declining readship, perhaps they've done a rething and you've lucked in! Well done! Cheers

David I respect you, but the Province is a rag and is a waste of trees. However, I am glad you will now have a public voice to keep our pathetic "leaders" in check. Please, show the citizens of this city and province how truly stupid and out of touch these people are. Congrats.
