Malik New Posterboy for Chutzpah

A scorching new definition of chutzpah has arrived.

Ripudaman Singh Malik is suing Ujjal Dosanjh.

Malik, found not guilty in the Air India trial, is believed by most observers to be as guilty as O.J.

He "borrowed" $6 Million of your tax payers dollars for his defense and to date has repaid no a kopek.

He attended a recent ceremony "honoring" a terrorist.

Canadian jurisprudence continues to be taken to the cleaners.

David, years ago when we both taught at JO, my students told me this man was "the biggest drug dealer on Fraser St." I always wondered how come nothing ever happened to him?
How the gov't was "sucked in" to loaning him money is beyond me. I wonder why the gov't hasn't seized his assets? This lawsuit is bizarre. How do his lawyers know they'll ever get paid. What a waste of taxpayers money!

Suing for frivolous reasons seems to be the new cool thing that all the kids are doing.

I wonder who is going to pay for his lawyer fees to launch this lawsuit? And when he loses and Ujjal Dosanjh sues him back to recoup his own legal fees, I wonder who will pay for that settlement.

I have little doubt that historians will look back at us in this time and refer to us with one word: Idiocracy!

Ripudaman Singh Malik personally knows the skeletons in many politicians closet...I suspect that this will all be settled 'out of court' quietly.

For my part I would prefer another show trial, if only to get the crap that Dosanjh was peddling as 'broad based community support' out in the open.

It is absolutely amazing that mass murder can occur in the name of Canada and politicians kiss up to the perpetrator. Why did they screw up the case against this man? Can you say political advantage in getting out the vote. The only reason this alleged murderer is walking free is he can get out the vote for both federal and provincial parties if need be. 6 million dollars is chump change for keeping this man out of jail and continuing his outrages.

I have always maintained from all accounts that this gentleman is less than honourable. The same could be said about Ripudaman Singh Malik in my estimation!

I have never understood why Malik was not extradited to India and face trial there, since the crime was against Air India, not Air Canada.

As each day passes, we become more and more Third World in our politics, where corruption is an integral part of the "system". Very little in that regard surprises me any longer. Having spent some time in Pakistan, this way of doing business seems remarkably familiar.
