World Class Chumps

Vaughn Palmer's recounting of Campbell and Co being utterly hoodwinked by a con man and scheister is so hysterical you simply have to read it to believe it.

In honor of which, you will find below Robert Preston and the original stage company's lusty version of "76 Trombones" from "The Music Man," an homage to con men and country hicks everywhere.

Interesting...

My parents had sold their home in East Vancouver a year ago and were looking at properties in the Abbotsford and Chilliwack area.

One of the apartments that they viewed was near the proposed site of this bogus university. They were told of the potential that this "university" would bring to the area by the listing real estate agent.

Thankfully, my parents bought in Abbotsford (the parking wasn't suitable at the Chilliwack location).

I wonder how many people chose to buy near this proposed university site thinking that it would be bustling, thinking that they might provide a a room or rooms to students in need of housing or thinking they might start a business that would cater to the people using the university.

Now they would be stuck with property that is not as valuable as they thought.

The hoodwinking of Campbell and Co may have a large human cost which will not show up on any government balance sheet.
