Denial on a Cheesy Scale

Patrick Kinsella is the provincial Liberal War Horse. He raises the money, he gets out the troops and he gets Gord elected.

Fine.

Now, the NDP opposition would like to know why Kinsella's company was awarded $300,000 in contracts from BC Rail, exactly at the time that Gord was selling the company off.

In an almost biblical scene, The Opaque One was asked this question in the House yesterday and 12 times he declined to answer. 12.

Gord? He let Wally hang in the wind.

Dear NDP Opposition and Dear Journalists,

Keep asking.

And Wally Awful expects to be reelected?

An Attorney General should remain aloof of Cabinet and the party, not hide corruption.

Wally Awful is in fact condoning corruption in the highest office of the province.

It is a sad reflection on a sad man and his utter ignorance of Parliament. I wonder if is previous judgments were as perverted.

Lord Acton wrote in 1887, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Perhaps a cliche but nevertheless, quite true.

Campbell and associates may have been ethical and sincere politicians years ago. No longer. A sense of public service has been replaced by a sense of entitlement.

You can bet that $300 K from BC Rail to Kinsella is only the tip of a much larger iceberg. There are specific reasons why BCR and BC Ferries were privatized and put beyond public oversight and FOI scrutiny.

The federal Liberals had kickbacks and payoffs artfully organized. Many of Victoria's back room players were participants or observers of the Ottawa games.

We need term limits for politicians. The longer they stay, the more certain is their corruption.

Folks have been polled here in white Rhodesia and Waffling Wally did not win. Folks want Huntington. The Libs know this and will send Wiggly Wally off to his
pension. Gordo approached Huntington twice. She said No. Maybe she is the first woman to turn him down. Who knows?
