It's All in the Family

It is kind of silly, perverse fun to watch the Liberals of Iggy Pop squirming over nothing.

Janine Krieber, the outspoken wife of Stephane Dion posted - and then quickly removed - a comment on her Facebook in which she trashed the current Gang:

"I will not give my voice to a party that will end up in the trashcan of history," she wrote in a passage that included shots at a "Toronto elite" behind Mr. Ignatieff's rise.

May they all bite each other.

Growing up in B.C. my father voted NDP provincially, and Liberal federally. For many years I voted the same way. I guess when they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, there's something to that. About 4 years ago I started to re-think my reason(s) for voting the way I had been for years.
I came to the conclusion that many, many NDP and federal Liberal policies I could no longer support by voting for them.
I began voting for anyone other than the Liberals & NDP provincially in B.C. (and the same will be here in Ontario) and Conservative in the federal elections - not that I overly like many of their personalities in their party or all of their platforms - but anything over the federal Liberals.
Although I respect the fact that people vote for whom they believe is the best party, with the history of the federal Liberal Party and the provincial Liberal party in B.C. I have no idea what would make someone vote for a person like Ignatieff. It should come as no surprise that I feel the same way about Dion, although I could have taken him for one term - maybe - before a single day of that egotistic Iggy.
