In the Flesh
In the '90's, Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson, the wonderful actor-singers who played Jesus and Judas in the 1973 Norman Jewison film, came to Vancouver several times with a great stage version of "Jesus Christ Superstar."
It was my great pleasure to hang out with these two guys and get to know them a bit.
Neeley was wonderfully laid-back and relaxed and gracious.
Anderson was intense and dedicated and political.
Anderson died at a very young age in 2004.
On stage they were magnificent and electrifying.

David, just last night I watched the 1973 JC Superstar. I thought back to the number of times that you had the two on your radio show.
Ive seen them on stage and heard them on your show. I remember the interviews and other guests like Julliet. That was an excellent radio program.
