2 BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS 2

1. Sorry for not getting the blog to you this morning. There was some meltdown with the Shaw server and it just wouldn't work.

2. My Friday column in tomorrow's Province has been moved to Sunday for this week only!!!

I've never been fond of Ryan Baloney, but now I really am mad at him.

Because of Ryan's latest old and boring self-pointy-headed news, the paper is obliged to run a column from Back East tomorrow.

HOWEVER...get the Sunday Province for my second column. It's a goodie.

David, David, David...

when will you wake-up to the fact that print is dieing?

The simple fact that you are pushed about by the 'powers-that-be' in the Province newspaper should be enough for you to politely decline further contribution.

Agreed you may like the $$$ they are paying for your wordsmithing, and if that were all they were getting then I'd accept that, however you have a certain cashe, that trancends just your words, and that value is diminishing...

It may take the 'editors' actions of slashing down your column, or re-working the words one, two, or three times before you finally have had enough, but for me I hope you waste less time on the bird cage liner, the Province (of Manitoba?).

Just a morning chuckle for you David. CKNW Major New's @8:00 AM. "One year to the day, storm damage STILL visible at Stanley Park"!!!! Whew, kinda takes your breath away doesn't it? So, that means that the MAJOR story is that in 365 days, the thousands, upon thousands of fallen trees have not decomposed! The same trees have not regenerated and grown to their original height! Wow, who does the writing there, a bunch of Chimps?? It's my Birthday today, wish me Happy Birthday! At this rate I will soon catch up to you! Cheers, Gary.

Hi Gary,

The chimps are recent BCIT grads or sometimes actual students. They are paid the most minimum wage and are are often worked in shifts that violate the labor codes. They only writing they've done prior to working for BC's News leader is fake notes from Mom about why they're skipping class today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! BUON COMPLEANNO!
