Palin Revealed???
This is a five-page condemnation of Gov. Sarah Palin, as printed in today's NY Times.
If you are a Palin admirer, you will abhore this kind of writing.
If, like me, you find this candidate offensive and dangerous, you will welcome anything that reveals more than can be shown from a podium.
Either way, it's great Sunday morning reading.

I'd be fine with articles like this if they published similar intense scrutiny about the media's apparent pick for president, Barrack Hussein Obama.
Like his history with drug abuse (according to his own book) and the fact that he launched his campaign from the house of a known and still unrepentant terrorist, William Ayers. Or that he abstained from voting 130 times while in the Illinois state legislature, and has a record of avoiding voting where he can, rather than choosing an option that might damage his political career.
Or how about Joe Biden? Or even John McCain? Neither of them had to put up with this kind of scrutiny.
Sure, they were better known than Sarah Palin. But Obama was an unknown when he started. And his past and his voting record, his associations and his political ties are still largely a mystery to the public. You'd think someone in the mainstream media would have published an expose by now.
No, I don't mind articles like the one quoted here in the NY Times. I like to learn. But, because I like to keep an open mind and learn, I do mind it when media shows such obvious closed-minded partiality. Don't you?
This from today's NY Times:
A Washington Post editorial on Thursday put it well: “On a day when the Congressional Budget Office warned of looming deficits and a grim economic outlook, when the stock market faltered even in the wake of the government’s rescue of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, when President Bush discussed the road ahead in Iraq and Afghanistan, on what did the campaign of Senator John McCain spend its energy? A conference call to denounce Senator Barack Obama for using the phrase ‘lipstick on a pig’ and a new television ad accusing the Democrat of wanting to teach kindergartners about sex before they learn to read.”
Keep the masses dumbed down with 'reality' tv, game shows, and deceiving news broadcasts that seem to blend the two.
Distract them over here.....so you can reward your friends the oil gluttons and war-mongers over here, and make sure the party keeps going by starting another illegal war.
There have to be a million others in the Republican party more qualified than this reckless idiot.
The woman scares me more than Bin Laden, its like something out of the Twilight Zone. If McCain and Pallin are elected, the USA will collapse into history as the country that committed suicide.
I read the article, and it is an excellent piece of investigative journalism. Unfortunately it is in the New York Times, who preach to the converted. The right wing of the republican party has successfully painted the NY Times, the Washington Post and many other great newspapers as "left wing operatives". Republican voters in Ohio and Florida and Indiana and most of the other flyover states consider these newspapers "the enemy". Only if a right wing newspaper, ie: the Wall Street Journal pick up this story will it have any affect at all on the election campaign.
Intelligent, educated people already know what Sarah Palin is. The rest of America doesn't really care.
This is the sad state of US politics in our lifetime.
