Watching a Government Fold in on Itself

Fun to see The Preem on the run:

1. Clarence Hansen, chairman of the (Do We really Need This Body?) Board of Education, says that politics played no factor in choosing school upgrades in Campbell's riding.

Whose cousin is this clown?

Running off at the mouth is allowed; but babbling incomprehensibly and lying through your teeth is unseemly for a guy in a nice suit.

2. The Board of Trade - THE BOARD OF FREAKING TRADE, FOR GWADSAKES - has declared the Preem's Carbon Tax a no-go.

Campbell is the Board of Trade. The Board is the Liberal government. These folks are Siamese twins.

This is like having your mom not applaud wildly when you recite the poem at the Christmas concert.

3. Vaughn Palmer lists the 900 reasons that cancelling the fall sitting of the legislature has rightfully infuriated citizens and lovers of the democratic process everywhere.

Can you say, "Stayed too long at the fair," boys and girls?

Enough.

This power mad impaired driver needs to be pulled over - again.

And this time, we, the people need to take away his keys.

Funny stuff, but where's the bit about ripping off charities while partying at swanky resorts ... oh, sorry, that was the other party. The one that's on the side of the angels. hahahaha

This is the third attempt to post something that will not be censored. I detest the man so much that I compare him to previous nasty bits of history.

But - Quisling Campbell is the most acceptable phrase to use - why?

He is an agent who is selling off BC bit by bit to stateless corporations.

Was there any debate over the sale (oh sorry the 999 year lease) of BC Rail?

Most P-3 projects are forgone owned (RAV is not a P-3 because it is funded by Government pension plan money, not forgone banks)

Campbell has bulldozed the sale of BC (us) assets to private hands - he has sold us out.

On top of that he has made a massive tax load transfer from the wealthy to the poor, so he and his friends can pretend to be important in Maui. This man is evil, as evil as anyone can be.

No David, it is more like having your MOM shout "BOOO!" when you recite the poem...

The utter nonsense about the two schools in his riding getting special treatment is another disaster--voters in his riding (and elsewhere) have not forgotten his secret deal to give away the golf course to the Musqueam (who are one of the wealthiest nations around). They will not appreciate this focus on their area---which makes them appear as greedy profiteers. This dictator should be sent back to Hawaii (with whatever mistress he chooses) and a carton or two of our best selling BC Bud.

So explain to my why Campbell's good works are our not so secret, dirty little secret that is largely ignored by the media. If this were the States, I have a feeling it would not play out in quite the same way. And the last time I checked, we were not living in a dictatorship, at least not an official one.

My problem with government is that they say one thing and then do another.
I filed a Freedom of Information request about a situation in B.C.Housing. (A crown corporation as I call it).
Have not heard back at all.Open and transparent, aren't we?
Active drug addicts being put into B.C.Housing (paid for by the tax payer)buildings filled with elderly tenants. How nice.
Before everybody screams Liberal, it actually started with NDP.Integration!
ALL political parties are full of it.
It's time for common sense to take back politics and demand that they listen to those who vote for them!
Am I mad, you bet!!

We live in a dictatorship sunshine, a benign one. Every 4 years, the public are trotted out to vote, then told to go home and shut up because, we (the premier) knows better. Same sort of BS happens in Russia and Cuba.

Campbell as Premier can do anything he wants, short of murder, and the public have little or no say.

Metro (GVRD) & TransLink are a continuation of the BC/Canada democracy, where the public pay taxes and are expected to shut up.

Isn't it funny (in a sad way) that the countries we defeated in WW 2 have a far better democracy than us, where the public are involved with local issues and finance.

Until the media tell the truth (and of late the media has been very poor at it) about Campbell and all politico's, Canada will slip ever further into a mediocre Little banana republic, where the rich get richer and the poor poorer.

Campbell is the epitome of a sun-glassed dictator, afraid of public debate. And short of armed revolution, there is not much the public can do about it.
