The Best Place on Earth - uh, if you know someone

Patrick Kinsella, friend and colleague of the Premier who would like to be your Premier again, is mighty miffed that anyone is suggesting that he had any undue influence in the government's decision to sell BC Rail.

So miffed, in fact, that he has somehow managed to get access to transcripts in the Basi-Virk affair - transcripts that are supposed to be privileged and not available to anyone who does not have standing in the court case.

How is that possible?

Is "privileged" the operative word here?

Could this business smell any higher?

Is there no way the crusty old amateurs who are running the NDP campaign cannot carry this ball over the finish line? What more do they need?

In BC there is no rule of law, just the rule of power. Kinsella has powerful friends and powerful friends in BC are above the rule of law.

Contempt of court proceedings should be levied by all who leaked this.

Anyone who votes for Gordo and his confidence trickster crew are no better than those people in Wiemar Germany who voted for the eccentric Austrian chap with a funny mustache.

Has BC and Canadian democracy been degraded so much by our 'paid for' media and downright corrupt government, that it overlooks pure corruption?

Is Carole James so inept and dogmatized by idiot NDP revisionists, that she can't see.

Is there no one in the mainstream media who has the moral fortitude to report the truth? Or is it the blogsters, who now do the investigative reporting?

Anon's link re Campbell and Lara Dauphinee, which as a former neighbour of his comes as no surprise to any of us in the 'hood, makes me wonder what else of greater import he is making sure we don't hear about. It's time for Campbell to go -- unfortunately the NDP don't seem to know how to strike while the iron is relatively hot. And I've always been puzzled by how the press just kinda leaves him alone.

For the most part ones private life should remain private, however, Campbell played the 'happily married' card for a very long time and the double standard, as mentioned in Anon's link, with his 'hounding' of Gordon Wilson over Judy Tyabji, is pretty rich.

Interesting that Mrs Gordie turned up in support of dear hubby at a recent event. A rarity, I wonder what induced her to make $uch an appearance.
