Influence

In case you were wondering...

China's trade with Africa was $2 Billion a decade ago.

Today it is $107 Billion.

When it finds its Public Voice to go with its financial and military clout, China will easily outstrip America as the World Power.

If it hasn't already...

Over the last 5 years or so, I can't for the life of me figure out how or why the US is often thought of around the world as the 'one' super power - especially financially. It has been said that if China ever really decided to flex it's collective financial muscle, the US would have no choice but to say 'uncle'. With the population China has and it's growing economy, there's no reason that makes sense as to why they aren't considered the 'one' true super power on the planet in the 21st century. I often think the only thing that saves the US these days is that because for so many decades they did rule the world financially and other-wise that investors and world Gov't's are some-what brainwashed into thinking that they are still in a position today as they once were. It's probably the greatest example of the Emperor's new clothes or the curtain being pulled in the Wizard of Oz. The US just isn't what it once was or as it appears to many.
