Ah yes - Old Chuck owned 30 - that's THIRTY assault rifles. I'm not impressed - actor or not, I disliked the man and what he stood for.

So what if he owned 30 assault rifles or any other guns for that matter. He didn't hurt anyone with them. He was an honest and passionate man who had very strong beliefs and fought for them.
Whether you agreed with his views or not you have to admire the guy because he stood up so strongly for his beliefs. He practiced freedom of speech which we in this country are so lucky to have.

Hummer: Not sure I understand the connection between free speech in Canada, or anywhere for that matter, and Heston owning 30 assault rifles. And, no, I don't admire him -- in fact him and people like him scare me.
