Wright is Wrong

Why is the Reverend Wright doing everything he can to destroy Barak Obama's election chances?

Because he is a shallow, attention seeker.

Read Bob Herbert's excellent analysis in this morning's NY Times.

Wright is a fool, who instead of doing everything possible to help get the first black President elected, is accomplishing with his antics exactly the opposite.

While I may agree with some of the WP article, Obama, in my opinion is best to let this ride and carry on.

And as to this statement - "Hillary Clinton is taunting Mr. Obama about his unwillingness to participate in another debate." We've all seen plenty of debates. Hillary is very short in the money department and a debate would get her on TV at no cost to her campaign. *That* is the main reason she is doing what she is doing - plus stirring the racist/wright pot.

Regardless of Wright and his antics, etc. I'd still prefer Obama over the power at any cost Clintons (2).

What a mess it all is.

An excellent example of the absolute necessity of separation of church and state.... There is no place in politics for religion.

"Rev. Wright is roaming the country with the press corps in tow, happily promoting the one issue Mr. Obama had tried to avoid: race."

I seem to remember many knowledgeable persons informing us that Senator Mr. Barack Obama was the only candidate who hadn't avoided that issue, but rather dealing with it in a breathtakingly wonderful speech.
Now I'm confused. Is this columnist one of those "house n-words" that Senator Mr. Barack Obama's hastily former "spiritual adviser" speaks of so often? That could explain this discrepancy.
