One Note Gord

I very much like Jim Sinclair's op-ed piece in the Sun today.

Sinclair is the President of the BC Federation of Labour and a good friend.

He chronicled the sins and omissions of Gordon Campbell.

Cost of living, wages, child care, homeless, forestry, Bill 42...it's all there.

And I agree with Sinclair's take whole-heartedly.

One day in our lifetimes, we may actually see a government in BC that is not so ideologically polarized. One day there might be an administration that favours business and social good at the same time.

Imagine that.

As the song goes, "Well, I can dream, can't I?"

David, couldn't you find the photo with the Maui numbers? It would be more appropriate.

David, There is no "booming economy." That is a joke perpretated by Gordo & Co. Yesterday I spoke with the owner of Mr. Clutch in Burnaby. He told me car sales are a bust, one can buy a car for 0 down, 0 interest & $300 a month. His business has been declining for several years. Long-time forestry consultants say this is the worst situation in 50 years. Where is the gov't help for these workers. Why are seniors forced to live 2 in a 9 x 12 room while their new facility is built?

Perhaps Sir David might have felt that a tad churlish.
I, on the other hand, just happen to be a churl, so here ya go then. ;-)
