JIngle Bells
Ah, Christmas.
Love.
More love.
Except for the lunatics who stormed a Wal-Mart at 5 am yesterday in Long Island, NY and trampled to death a "temporary" worker.
Which brings and entirely new definition to the phrase "temporary worker."
Apparently everyone was subsequently s intent on their Christmas shopping bargains, no one noticed or attended to Mr. Trampled.
Not to be outdone in the Spirit of Christmas giving, a pair of determined fathers exchanged lead at a Toys R Us in sleepy old Palm Springs yesterday. That's right. They shot each other dead over some terribly significant dispute. No doubt a Game Boy or iPod.
Ah, Christmas...

Note to self...shop only when others are not present.
Yikes.
I already knew I hated xmas chopping...I hate it more now.
Note to self.......avoid Wallmart....avoid Toys 'R' Us. Let's avoid Xmas altogether.
Happy Hanuka
I almost finished my Christmas shopping for my 3.5 year old and 20 month old. I bought them stickers at a local store. 2 packages for a dollar!!
I was going to go to one of the big box toy stores and buy a nice colourful pack of Play Doh, but since shopping for toys as become too dangerous, I will make my own play doh.
My recipe:
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of salt
3 Tbsp of canola oil
2 package of no-name "Kool Aid" in the colour/flavour of my choice
2 cups boiling water
Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Stir quickly, mixing well. When cool enough to handle, knead with hands. Store in an airtight container.
I hope there is no rampage, riot or fist fight at the supermarket as I buy my ingredients.
As for my thrifty gift to my kids - they will no doubt have hours of fun!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah and best of the Winter Season to all!!
