DITTO

Yesterday, I wrote in this space about the fine job all local politicians are doing using and abusing "ethnic" communities for cheap and ready votes.

I am not alone in my sentiments.

Read Vaughn Palmer in today's Sun for more of the same.

The sub-headline gives a hint of what's to follow:

Hundreds of Surrey residents joined both NDP and Liberals, and that abuse needs to stop

Comments like these make my blood curdle, ""Ethnic communities are very easy to organize compared to the mainstream communities,"

As if there's some kind of "default" culture, and the other cultures are "different."

But, politicians will be politicians. It's like back in the days of railway construction, when the Irish complained that the Chinese were taking their jobs... and many politicians wanted the Irish vote, so based their platforms on stopping the Yellow Peril, stopping the Chinese... and that resulted in closing of borders and implementation of a Chinese Head Tax. That's politicians for ya.

There is nothing in this province, that isn't, a cesspool of corruption. The BC Liberals, saw to that. If they are afraid they won't win, they cheat.

Campbell twice lied for two different elections, to ensure his re-election. The BCR wasn't for sale. And, the HST wasn't on Campbell and Hansen's radar. Along with the lie of the small provincial deficit.

The BC Liberals litany of lies, deceit, corruption, and dirty tactics are continuing on, right to this very day.
