Obama's Speech - Attention Must be Paid

i suppose I'm just a "typical white person" because Obama strikes me as a nicely packaged empty suit.
If people think the naive, ignorant, empty suit Bush 43 a disaster, just wait until this guy gets in there.
Africans were practicing slavery long before the "whites" got involved and still are long after, Barry.
Oops did I just type that?
Guess I'm just a "typical white man."
Oh my heavens, he did just actually go to "our children and grandchildren".
What about "G-d damn America", Barry? Oh, that's the past 'cause your wife is finally proud to be American.
This guy is all about divisive, yet he preaches the opposite. He's got blacks and browns and whites. Hmmm, no-one else?
The Rev's rantings were "divisive at a time we need unity", but, not before? Why just now? To elect you, Barry, right? Then, what?
Divie, divie, divie. Sounds like a, like a, like a, hypocrite.

You know I always appreciate your comments, David in North Burnaby, and I always post them.

But I am afraid I can't agree with you on Barak Obama. His name is Barak.

I think this speech was absolutely meant in every word and phrase and is unusual in modern American history.

He has taken America's most onerous and difficult challenge and given careful, thoughtful deliberation to it. he has made it both highly personal and broadly universal.

Well, perhaps you're right, Sir David, we'll see.
On the other hand, when, oops, I meant if, if, he turns out to be an unmitigated disaster, you can stand me to a cup of tea sometime. We'll see what you think of him down the road a piece. Once he gets himself settled into the Big Chair for a while.
A little wager. ;-)
