Even though Ken Brotherston Jr. had a warrant out for his arrest at the time of Mr. Taylor's death, Mr. Brotherston admitted allowing his son to live in the family home.
Mr. Brotherston also admitted buying Ken Jr. drinks at a Bear Mountain pub just prior to the attack, despite knowing that the terms of his son's parole prohibited Ken Jr. from drinking or going to bars.
Ken Brotherston Sr., a former B.C. Councillor, along with his two sons, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a drug dealer

This gentleman gives the good lunatics a bad name. He is quick to tell us it's "not his job", but fails to inform us what IS his job.
Hmm, let's take just one of his "jobs". To raise a contributing member to our Society.
He should have been fired from that "job" years ago, because it would appear that at some point he just quit.
I regret that I will miss seeing him receiving The Good Parenting Award. I have to give my cats their furball ointment that morning.
Welcome to the 21st century where people are no longer held accountable for their own actions or the actions of their own kids. I try not to think about things like this too much because it pisses me off so much that I find myself feeling enraged and helpless in a world that's slowly going over the edge it seems.
David, this just illustrates the high moral standards that our politicians adhere to.
In Canada, honour means nothing and corruption means everything.
It also says alot about the Canadian public who vote these people in.
