Big Brains Think Alike

Hahahaha...

Yesterday I said in this space that the so-called leaders of our federal parties are all irresponsible children (Buffoons Abound).

Today, the Globe & Mail editorial says it would be helpful if there were some adults in Ottawa.

Hahahahaha...

I knew there was a reason I switched papers.

If Jean Chretien, as reported, is behind this unholy alliance leading to the first coup d'etat in our history, how can he claim he is standing up for a united Canada that includes Quebec?? This means he was never sincere in his fight against the separatists.

Yayyy!

Go crazy Ottawa.

Prove that you are totally useless in a 21st Century Canada.

Sounds like a plan...let the coalition madness romp around and accomplish nothing!

I say back off to Harper, let the vote stand and if the GG figures she is smarter than the entire Canadian populace and puts the three stooges in charge then GREAT!

Sounds like the perfect recipie to have Canada break-up!

Since the BQ will do everything they can to get the goods for 'la belle province' this will mean that Alberta and BC will have even more reason to bid 'adios amigos' to the looney bin in Ottawa.

The time may have finally come to 'stand up' as a separate member of the 'confederation' and stop PAYING INTO the foolish 'equalization' nonsense.

Murdock appears to revel in the collapse of our democratic system. That's kinda creepy, eh?

And, no, this would not be the "First Coup D'etat" in our history. In fact, it's a legitimate and proven political blunder. See:

As stated earlier.
Let the Protectionist Americans draft their economic plan first, and then follow up with a Canadian package that protects our own economic interests, such as forestry, or the new green auto sector (hint).

Let's not protect the interests of a bankrupt political party, or two, or three.

And the Tories can always do away with the subsidies when they have a legitimate majority.

Only creepy to you 'still a nationalist'.

There is nothing in the ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION of CONFEDERATION that requires a strong central government. Nor anything that proscribes the provinces from doing all the things I have put forward. Printing BC money, a BC Police Force, and the entire 'equalization' plan comes after the 1867 Confederation agreement. Everything is ultimately negotiable and BC leaving that scheme would not 'end' Canada. But it might just end the hypnotic fascination too many people have with Ottawa and thinking that that looney bin can solve any of the problems that it purports to be able to...

Familiar with the Clarity Act, still a nationalist'?
"Creepy" Stephane Dionne likes to take credit for that one.

Separation from confederation - whether by BC or Quebec - is just the first step to becoming the next American state.

You's guys is not thinking good.

"Separation from confederation - whether by BC or Quebec - is just the first step to becoming the next American state."

Oh please, the same ancient scare tactic. The Americans are broke and far too busy with their own calamity to be taking anyone over.
Grow up.
